The Demco Ford F-150 Base Plate # 9518296 For 2004 to 2014 Vehicles is made to be virtually unnoticeable and won't protrude out, hang below or rise above your bumper or grill. A base plate is the frame work that allows you to hook a tow bar to your Ford F-150 and tow it 4 wheels down. Demco takes safety seriously and uses Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) when testing base plates for strength, functionality and durability. Each base plate bolts permanently to the chassis of your vehicle and provides a secure, reliable attachment point for all Demco tow bars or Blue Ox, Ready Brute and Roadmaster tow bars with added adapter.
