"I had purchased a new trailer and painted the interior plywood walls and floors to include the drop down ramp with an outdoor paint. However, the first time the ramp got wet, I slipped and nearly broke my neck. I looked for non-skid products in several of the big box stores, but all I could find were 1" rolls or the 6" x 24" type that you use on steps. This product was exactly what I was looking for. Before I applied the tape, I mopped the surface with water and a mild detergent and let it completely dry. I cut the tape into 6' lengths using regular household scissors. I drew straight lines in pencil before I began. I peeled back a few inches of the backing and firmly pressed the first couple of inches of the tape in place. I peeled off the backing as I went so that it would be easier to handle the 6' lengths. This product installed easily and has held up very well under heavy foot traffic. It has stayed firmly in place even when it has gotten wet (although it was not submerged under water)."  -John S.
