The Thetford cassette toilet has gained popularity as the preferred toilet for camper van builds due to its functional design that combines modern style with ease of use, making it an integral part of your camper bathroom. The cassette toilet comprises two parts: a permanent fixture and a waste tank that is easily accessible from the outside. The removable waste tank is situated beneath the toilet bowl and can be accessed through a door on the exterior of the camper or van. This unique feature allows for the creation of a small bathroom without requiring the installation of a black water tank into your camper's plumbing system.

Flushing the toilet is done by pumping the flush handle located on the back panel of the toilet. To move the waste from the toilet bowl to the holding tank, you need to operate the blade handle on the front of the toilet by moving it from left to right. Adjusting the angle of the toilet bowl is also simple. Close the cover and use both hands to rotate it up to 90-Degree clockwise and 170-Degree counterclockwise. This cassette toilet is self-contained with a small freshwater tank and a waste tank. An enclosure will be necessary since the back of the toilet is open. If you're feeling creative, you can also install the compatible 050-934 Shower Tray (not included) or 050-935 Shower Tray (not included) with the toilet.
